Rail Trail meeting in Nanaimo.
I just received this from David Grey with the Greater Nanaimo Cycling Coalition. I know it is very short notice but it would be great if some local people might be able to attend. The meeting starts at 6:00 pm at Fibber Magee's in the Train Station in Nanaimo. Though the meeting is about the overall cycling plan for Nanaimo, there will be a part of the meeting devoted to rails to trails in the area.

Please
forward this onto your cycling network and let’s get the cycling
community out for this information and feedback forum. The event is at 6
at Fibber Magee’s on November 25th.
This is an opportunity to learn about the City’s Master Transportation
Plan, specifically the cycling plans, and we will have an opportunity
for you to provide feedback. You will also hear about recent progress on
the E&N Trail and other cycling infrastructure. We are also looking
to see updates from various cycling groups followed by a discussion on
how to best work together to improve cycling infrastructure in the
community.
